Wrasse jumping question

So are they all bad jumpers or are some not so much as others, is it an individual thing or an over all thing among all wrasses :twitch:

I have a red Corris and he seems to always stay towards the bottom of the tank. I've never seen him try to jump, but I also have glass lids on the tank.

Most fish will jump not just wrasses. I even had a lion fish jump. In all my years the only fish that I never picked up are Angels, Tangs and Butterflies, but probably only because I was lucky. I always keep a top on my tanks!

All species of wrasses jump, and nearly all individuals within any species jump. It may be hours, days, weeks, months, and in some few cases, years, but if it is a wrasse it will eventually jump.

It's not a matter of if, but when.

The tank top must be COMPLETELY covered; if the head fits, the fish fits!

1/4" mesh makes for a nice cover. :)

+1 on the 0.25" mesh. BRS sells it in differing sizes. My wrasses have bumped my covers on multiple occasions, no worse for wear.
