wrasse=non jumper

Iwant to get a wrasse but I have a 125g with no type of lid are there any that are less likely to jump?

I've had several wrasses in an open tank with no jumpers. It's the gobies you need to watch.

I would not recommend putting any wrasse in a open top tank.

I have had lots of wrasses with no top at all othen than the canopy.
Just mke sure yu don't do anything that will spook them and don't have very aggresive tankmates.

Amazingly enough Gobies and Blennies are both known to jump. Wrasses are notorious for it.

Wrasses will jump, it's just a matter of time.


I had one wrasse that jumped out twice while I was walking by the tank. Once I caught him, the other time he hit the carpet. The third time I was in another part of the house...... Its my fault for not covering the tank, wrasses need a cover.

why are you so adamant to not have a lid? just get a large panel of eggcrate light diffuser from Hopme depot (15$) and cut it to the size of your tank.
