I have kept several Leopard Wrasses but that was when I had my 125 and it had a canopy. Never had an issue with jumpers. In my research some of the information shows that the LW is prone to jumping, but when I look up the Choati it does not mention that is is a jumper.
I only have a 40 gallon tank with a 15 gallon sump and I don't have a cover for it - rimless glass. Can I keep a Choati or is there another member of the LW type that can be housed in the tank. I have the required sanded depth and have been seeding the live rock with amphipods. I will only have very few fish, maybe 3 bangaii cardinals and 1 wrasse. Just want the right mix.
The leopard is my absolute favorite fish...but don't want to run the risk of jumping out.
Appreciate your thoughts.
I did not post in the "Leopard Wrasse Primer" as the information requested was more about your experience. Thanks in advance for your time.
