Wrasse swimming upside down

I have a pink margin wrasse (male), purchased 3 weeks ago. Ever since I bought it, it appears to have some swimming problems that slightly got worse. Now it irtually does not swim and it lays upside down quietly breathing and observing its surroundings. I presume it has something to do with the swimbladder. Does anyone else have any idea what it is or what can be done? He does get excited when he sees the female pink margin wrasse.

I have had a few different wrasses do that exact behavior your writing about. It is always males, I noticed it first with some Annopsis sp. and then some Thalosoma sp. Is the fish still feeding? Is his breathing relaxed or rapid? He's most likely just getting used to his new enivronment. What are your water parameters?

Water parameters are excellent. I test everything. I have not seen the wrasse for a few days now. I presume it died. I am curious whether it changed later on for yours? Mine was feeding at first, but then he could not his swimming patterns, but did respond when frozen foods would float in the tank.
