Wrasse Tank

I am setting up a 93 "cube" mixed sps and lps tank. I would like to stock it with a jaw fish or a prawn goby and the rest in different kinds of wrasses. What would be your recommendations of ones that get along and look nice? I have thought of
leapords - black, divided, choati, ornate, potters
Hooded fairy
Rosy scaled
melanurus
lineatus
Labouti fairy
Radiant

Which ones seem to not develop into bullies and which ones would you recommend or others.

Thanks
Floyd

A harem (1 male and several female) of flasher wrasses is a good way to add colour and movement. And I believe it may be possible to mix male flashers of multiple species without too much aggression, but I could be wrong on that.

the leopards will all be okay together
hooded fairy is a bit skittish IMO
rosey scaled no problem at all
melanurus good community fish too
lineatus should be great
labouti nice choice
radiant may get aggressive towards others but probably okay
i would not recommend the choati or they should be the first ,they are almost impossible to keep
now for my opinion ,i like the leopards and the lineatus in that size tank .be careful with being sure that tank is covered very well as most wrasses are escape artists and the don't carpet surf well .

If you can do all the leopards at the same time. I had a black for a while who would kill all other leopards. Same thing for my ornate. I would also wait and do the Lineatus last bc mine killed all my other wrasses except my leopard in my tank! Beautiful fish but killed too many!

hey bret sorry to hear that you have had some misfortune with such docile wrasses .what size tank do you have thease guys in ?do you feed them ? a black ,ornate and lineatus that all were killers ?

Thanks for the input. I guess each fish has its own personality and you never know when you put them together. I was just looking for general rules. The thought of starting the leapards together is interesting. Would it be harder to start multiple picky eaters together or is it better to do each one at a time?

from my experience with them it really doesn't matter because they simply wont be able to live off your pod population so you will be feeding them . PE mysis is what many of us use along with some pelleted food or supplementation .as far as multiple picky eaters at the same time ,that i would not worry about as much as the condition of the livestock and the stress that they have gone through during the collection and shipping process . remember that it has been many weeks since a fish at you LFS has been in the ocean so that takes a much larger toll on their chances to survive in your aquarium .
