Wrasses, wrasses and wrasses!

Anyone ever housed a mystery with a common cleaner? I've had a cleaner for a few years and have always wanted a mystery but I've heard that the can get aggressive when they age. I was thinking about eventually adding one after the new tank gets up and going.

Everybody loves cleaner wrasse they are seen as cleaner shrimp they are a service not a threat the mystery will be fine with him

Mystery wrasse are cool but not worth $100+ IMO theybare tons of cool wrasses out there you just have to do research on them to find some really unique ones.

Picked up this guy today

I really liked my mystery. Was bummed when he died during the upgrade. I do plan on getting another eventually. I did have him with a cleaner wrasse a while back and he didnt bother him, although he was smaller then so might not have been showing mature aggression.

Good pick up tons of personality he will be all over your tank once he feels comfortable. I bet that red is brighter in person. Keep in mind that wrasse bury themselves in the sand at night to sleep but also when they are scared they need suger fine sand bed to burrow or else you risk scratching them up with crushed coral which could lead to infection.

Yeah, he was chilling out for a few hours then he disappeared. I didnt see where he dove under. Hoping he will get rid of all my Vermetidae snails when he decides to not be so shy
