I'm installing baffles in my sump and i used GE Silicone II 100% silicone sealant (recommend by a friend), As i was readiong the fine print is said (NOT FOR: Surfaces that will exceed 4000F, conditions where FDA compliance is neccessary or aquariums).

Did i use the wrong stuff?

Just from what I've read on this board, always use type I. The type II stuff has some kind of anti-microbial/anti-mildew/mold/fungus stuff in it that's pretty bad for aquariums.
I'd say peel it off now and start over.

Yes, I asked this on another thread. I couldn't find anything at home depot that said 'safe for aquariums.' Course, nothing said NOT safe. So I'd like to know for sure too.

Silicone I is what you should be using... II has a mold inhibitor in it... though some have told me once its cured it should be fine....

id start over and use I though- easier now that later :/
