WTB: 125/150g Fish Tank - Advice Needed

Hi all,

I am finally looking to upgrade from my longstanding 55g FOWLR to either a 125g or 150g (potential reef). I'd like to use my 55g as the sump for the new tank if possible.

My problem is that I don't see many used tanks available and I am trying to figure out my best option for buying a tank.

Questions:

1. Is FishTanksDirect a good and reputable site to order a new tank and stand from? Are there better options out there you've used? (LFS/etc.)

2. Am I better off buying the tank pre-drilled?

3. Do you know anyone local selling a tank that fits this criteria?

TY for the quick response. The drilled tank I am looking at on FTD is $850 without the stand/shipping. Would I have better luck at a LFS?

I've seen this tank, and John is a good guy. Buy with confidence.

The extra depth on a 180 gallon is really nice, especially for a reef, if you have the room, same width.

The width is my max available so I'm totally open to this! Great advice.
