Yeah, sorry about the short jerk like responses. I've been SUPER busy with work and everything....and I thought $80 was a little low for a 2month old superskimmer. I'm getting back into it eventually and if the price is too low, I'd rather keep it and use it later. Anyway, good luck with your purchase.

i am buying adam's ss 125, and wanted to know if this would be a good quality skimmer for my 100 gallon set up? sorry to intrude, but since your on the topic.........wat do you think?

yes that skimmer is fine for your setup in the sump

i was gonna do a hang-on-sump thing with it so that i can save sump room for LR

trust me that is one skimmer i suggest putting in the sump after you get it hooked up you will understand

to many problem people run into with running it HOB

from leaking to no skimming


and they are big and ugly when they are hanging on the back or the tank


pump is hugh and the bubble trap is big also

i would run it on the back of my SUMP not tank

My ss125 has been running for a year, easy to set and consistent production of dark gunk. I'm trading up to a g3, so won't need it anymore.
