WTB - 48" T5 Fixture

I know I'm a noob but I bought a PC fixture from Aquatraders and had a great experience with them. They have a 48" T5 for $59 including shipping.

I bought a 28W PC from them, the bulb was broken in shipping, they gave me 2 options, either return it with their UPS return# or just email them a picture of the bulb and pay a $5 shipping charge. Using option 2 I had my bulb in 3 days. I don't know much about lighting but it seems like a fine fixture for the money.

I hope I'm not breaking any rules but I like these guys.

I picked up a Coralife Aqualight Dual T5 at Coral Reef Aquatics near Huntsville. Think it was around $65 including two bulbs (white and actinic). Like to support the local guys as much as possible...

I agree supporting the LFS as much as possible, I run a pico though and there's not a lot of hardware that fits me. I do plan on doing most of my livestock purchases locally.

ahh, yeah, i got three of these over my 75g seahorse tank. They are NO bulbs though in this fixture. I got mine for $59.99 at Aquarium Fantasies in Montgomery. I don't know where you live shirley....Could either go to CRA up north or AF down here.

Oddysea light fixtures (sold by Aquatraders) do not have good track records in general. Some people seem to be happy with them, but many complain about faulty parts and the lack of fan causing bulbs/ballast to run too hot, resulting in premature failures.
