WTB: 48" T5 or MH fixture

I'm looking for a used T5 fixture (nothing fancy such as ATI) or a MH fixture (or two single reflectors) for my 75g (48" long) for an affordable price. I don't care about the condition as long as it is functional. I'm located in the Riverside/Moreno Valley.

If you want cheap and dont care. Get a t5 horticulture light. cheap and better than a dirty reflector old unit.

I have a sunlight supply 48" 2x250w double end 2x48" t5 pendant come with ballast 150$.

Get an Agro-Brite T5 from Amazon. They come in either 6 bulb or 8 bulb configuration. Very nice quality with individual reflectors for each bulb. German high polished aluminum. Much better then a sketchy used POS.

I have an Agro-Brite and I hate it!! The bulb sockets don't handle the ambient moisture well and kept shorting out the ballast. After the 3rd ballast, I swapped it out.
Cheers! Mark

You obviously kept it too close to the water surface. I would blame that on the user, not the equipment. The end sockets are standard fare. Mine never had any issues.

Ran it 10 inches off the water. So while it may be a good plant light, it sucks over a reef. When it would short the ballast, it would cause a circuit breaker to trip then the whole tank is off and if you are gone it could be off for a while. The end sockets are different. At least on the aquarium t5 that I run on my other reef they are more sealed.
Cheers! Mark

I might have an old sunlight supply 8bulb unit. I have to check my storage but I’ll let you know once I get home this afternoon

I got 2 reflectors with ballast: 250 watt

Asking 80 bucks for both reflectors and both ballast. I might even have extra radium bulbs somewhere. Im in riverside.

I have two retrofit reflectors with An ARO electronic ballast and a bunch of 250 watt bulbs for $80.
