WTB: 65gal tall glass/starphire

Hi all,

I'm tired of acrylic. Just wanted to see if anyone has a 65 tall to replace my current one. I would prefer starphire (I know those are rare).

Or, does any know where I can have a starphire built locally? (shipping prices are way too high)

You can get most lfs to order a starphire tank from AGA or Oceanic. I don't recall any makes locally, sorry.

I tried Oceanic through Aquarium Concepts in Hayward. I remember my estimate was somewhere around $5K...pretty ridiculous..

yeah $5k is really crazy. is it all starphire? maybe you just want the sides and front starphire, it may be cheaper.

Yeah, but at that price, I don't think taking off one side of starphire is going to help much in terms of bringing the price down to "affordable".

Isn't there a place near Modesto (Glass Cage?) that can makes tanks with Starphire? They don't call it the same but still the low iron glass that you might be looking for..
