WTB ASAP sump pump pref. mag7

My return pump just went out and im needing to buy one quick. If anyone has a mag 7 or something close let me know. Thanks

Are you using a mag7 now? If so, find a new impeller for it. It's really rare for a mag pump to actually be burned up. It's usually just an encrusted impeller. If that's the case, place the impeller in a bowl of vinigar for a few hours. It will clean right up and work again.

I second dugg. Take it apart and soak it in vinegar and see if you can't get it running again. the moving parts have probably just crusted over.

I have a mag7, and it crusts up about once every 6 to 8 weeks. I keep 2 impellers on hand so it's just a quick swap out. If i don't catch it though it always chooses to go out at night, so i wake up to a tank with no water in the top 4 inches. Mine has froze up numerous times, and sat for hours froze up while plugged in, and never burned up. Just clean it up and plug it back in, that's what i like about mag pumps.

The pump that went out isn't a Mag 7. Its fried, took the plate off and looks like its been cooking the plastic, smells really bad. Been hearing alot of good stuff about those Mags thats why im hoping someone on here has one for sale. Thanks for the advice guys, it will be useful in the future.
