I still live in Minnesota and frequent several vendors that carry the dead rock from Bulk Reef (located in Golden Valley MN) and it is really fantastic stuff. In my 30 gal it only took about 4 months to get really purple. Their 2 part mixes and RO + DI units are also good buys Good Luck
