WTB Caluim Reactor

Who has a reactor they want to sell. I just cant see buying one new, way to much money. I have looked to the selling forum but I would just fell better getting one from someone local. I already have tank and regulator so I just need reactor and pump.

I am also interested in a calcium reactor and would like to take it one step further. Is there enough expertise in the club to assist with building a calcium reactor? With one or two capable leaders, a couple of us could follow along.

Some items will need to be purchased (co2 tank, regulator, pump) but I bet much of the rest could be constructed?

we have actually had a meeting on how to build your own Ca reactor Chris B, Mike, Jeff, and Tom all built one. i don't know how much money was saved or how well they worked. but they did build them.

Dude! A day late and a dollar short again! I saw Mike's in action and he seemed pleased with it. Anybody take notes? Chris, Mike, Jeff or Tom, feel up to doing it again? Anyone else have an interest in building a calcium reactor?

The ones that Tom and I built cost around $200 for two including two eheim pumps. The reactor we built off from cost about $600 bucks, for one. Its worth it!

You did Dan but I guess it leaks. James was going to set it up for me since I had no idea how to do it. So I did some work on his car and he was going to get the pumps and co2 tank. well finally got the stuff and now the reactor leaks. I am so tired of dosing everyday. And I cant bring myself to dropping $400 dollars on a new one when someone must have one they need to get rid of.

I have a Korrallin 1502 and it's $600 new with regulator and CO2 tanks. I've scene the same setup for $300 several times on the selling forum. There's always deals. I seem to see a lot of GEO's too,but their a little more spendy,

looks like a greatb deal if the 20 lb CO2 tank fits under the tank

as i remember my old 20 lb was 27" tall but it was a steel tank. The Al tank may be different.
