WTB Carpet anem

HI!

I recently traded in our maroon clown for some false perc (ocellaris) variants. The maroon was nutzo for the RBTA. The new clowns... not so much. In reading up on ocellaris, seems they may prefer a carpet anem (magnifica, gigantea, mertensii)

Just wanna see the little buggers happy, so I thought we'd add a carpet anem to the tank to see if that'll be a suitable host.

TIA

Since the clowns are tank raised, and seeing as carpets are harder to maintain than bta's, give them some time and they will start hosting the bta. It took mine almost 4 months to start hosting. If you're set on getting a carpet though, make darn sure it is healthy when you get it. Even a healthy carpet can die for unknown reasons. I've had 2 before, and both were doing great for months then died. One carpet had it's foot basically melt apart and the other just inverted for no apparent reason.

Maybe I jumped the gun:

The bigger of the two has now clearly hosted in the RBTA. She's a natural. The smaller is apparently oblivious... But I'm guessin he will catch on after some time.
