any one have any chaeto (stringy green algae) they can spare? or any other kind of macro for that matter (besides calurpa i already have one kind and its a pain in the butt to keep under control, the only calurpa i want is that feathery stuff) i'm willing to pay for some at the next meeting.

i was also hoping some one in the club may have a large pepermint shrimp they no longer want
as i would likeone/need one (i have 5 aptasia anemones, bleh) but all i have found at LFS are too small as i have a falco hawk,
he is good with shrimp as i have a CB, a red fire, and 2 cleaners and he leaves them alone but they are all 1-2 inches long. the little half inch pepermint shrimps i have been finding he'll just eat!!!!

lastly my old skimmer spit alot of micro bubbles in the tank and they are trapped in the sand, so i think i need to get some more snails to stirr up the sand and get the bubbles out. if any one has like got extra snails or any other kritter that stirrs sand up they'd be willing to sell i'd be happy to buy.

any way let me know.

thanks.

Lilleah - I have a large ball of chaeto growing in the sump. I can grab you some for the meeting for free. It was given to me, grew like mad, and I would be happy to give some away.

As for the peppermints I have about 8-10 in my system, but I can never catch them. They are always gravid, fat, happy, and large and come out at night. They are not as well trained as my cleaners and coral bandeds who hop in my hand for a treat. Sorry!

I do happen to have a couple Sand sifting stars that work wonders on my sand bed. They will eat pods/detritus/etc. that is found within the sand bed and will sometimes climb the glass for our amusement. How much sand do you have?
