WTB corals

Hello all. Looking for some local help. I finally got rid of my last big fish, and I'm making the switch to a semi reef tank. So I'm in the market for some starter corals before fragfest in May. Got my water almost perfect(nitrates still about 10). I have limited lighting for my 120g(5 foot). Running 4x54W T5 and 2 OD 32W T8, but everything I had before was rebounding under 160W T12's. I currently have 6-7 green stripe shrooms, 6-7 purple shrooms, 15 green button polyps(thought I lost it in change over a year ago, rebounding nicely). I recently added from Showald, 5 pink/brown ricordilike shrooms, another frag of the green button polyps(20), and a BTA. Also added some red/brown green centered button polyps(30-40). Scored a bonded pair of Maroon clowns from the guys at Midwest reef supply this Saturday, and took to the BTA immediatly. Everything in there is doing great at all levels(BTA found home halfway up). So I feel I need to stick to easy grows for now, but am also in the market for a RBTA for the other side of the tank. Can anybody help me out with a few frags. Dont want to wait till May to stock up a bit more. Let me know what you have and the money you would need =). And if anyone does african cichlids also, I might have something to trade. Thanks for any help.

I have a few easy corals zoos, and leather corals. Just so you know I raise and breed Malwians cichlids. I have 20+ tanks running mainly with malawians. What do you keep? I live by Dekalb and you are welcome to stop by.

Whats up goat585. I may have met you before. My name is Steven, I live off 11th St. (251) in Rockford, by Broadway. Right now my stock is pretty thin. I run 10 FW tanks. I do Lithobates as hosts for Syno Multipunctatus(F0), young F2 Saulosi(just starting to breed), OB and Katale Fulleborni(just starting to breed). I also have a breeding group of T Reef(1M albino/2F albino/3F standard). I also have 3 F2 Mpimbwe(1-1.5"), and 8 Demasoni(1-1.5"). Also have 11 Kapampas(F1) at 3-7" I'm growing to hopefully breed. I sold most my fry at the GCCA auction, but still have a few around. Zoos and leathers would be up my alley. Let me know if your interested in any of my FW, maybe we could trade? Otherwise I have a little $$ if you have some zoos or leathers I might be interested in. What kinds you got? Thanks .

I'm in Poplar Grove and have plenty of zoas, shrroms, xenia, ect ect. Mayby 100+ things to chose from.
Let me know perhaps i can help you out.

I'll take some pictures the next day or so. I have approx 10 types of zoos, and a few leathers. I also have some green star polyps and what ever else we can chop out of the main tank.

For a trade let me know what you are looking to move out. Not sure what out of your list above you are wanting to trade. I may be interested in something

RobTop really does have a nice selection of stuff. I have some clove polyps if you want - $5.00; or some GSP if you want it. Lemme know.

Man, thanks for the replies folks. OK. Bassist6108, I see you also have LR for sale. If you still need a skimmer I have that CPR bakpak if you want to trade for a few lbs LR/clove polyps(CPR is just collecting dust). Goat585, T Reef breeders tradeable, Saulosi males are poping up(F2 and tradeable), Demasoni, Mpimbwe, and I need to thin out my Kapampas but I just cant vent them accuratly. Anything in particular your looking for out of my list? And RobTop, very nice stuff, but looks pricey LOL. Let me see if I can trade some stuff first, and then get with you with any leftover $$. I definately want to see what you have. Honestly folks, I only have around $130 to work with for now, besides my tradeable items, and I'm looking for the best bang for my bucks. You folks let me know, as I would like to do business with you all, just to meet the local reefers. Might even be able to hit some local club meetings if I'm allowed. Thanks.

The club is a free club open to all, so if you haven't gotten on the e-mail listing please send go to Rockfordreefers.org and sign up!

Yeah the pics I posted are my most expensive ones, but I have much cheaper too. Most frags are $5-15, depending on what you want. Most members come leave with bags and only leave a couple few tens

Thank-you for the link RobTop, might you be the president? I didn't go to deep, but I did signup =). If I can swing any trades, that would be wonderful. I'll definately get ahold of you by PM, its been a while since I've been in the "Grove". Think I did 1/3 of the houses in Ravenscrest, the Church, the Postoffice, and a handful in the newer sub off Sherman Oaks??? So I know the area :D . Boondocks ;) . Changed a bit, but very nice.

Yeah the Grove has changed a lot in the past few years. When I moved out here 76 was still mostly corn fields, now it is all sud-divisions. Things have slowed a lot of course with teh current housing market, but the past 5 years as seen some major growth out here. Yeah I am the pres, and you got the VP in Tom (goat) so you have the attention of the "elected officals"
If that matters for anything:)

Trade LR + cloves for skimmer sounds good. Let me know hwen you want to stop by for a trade. I'm usually aorund in the evenings.

I would like to thank bassist6108. The GSP and cloves are doing good, and the LR helped me set the tank up to be more coral frie
ndly =). And a huge thanks to Kawicivic. Everything is fine. The pink zoos, orange center zoos, brown polyps, and trumpets are awesome. That anthelia is the best, and doing great as its already spreading to some of my LR. You are the man Josh. Still have yet to hook up with goat585 and Robtop. 2 more stops and I'll be in good shape =). I'll post some pics after I get with Tom and Rob.

Robtop, I really like the purple polys in the last photo above.
Can I ask where you got them. I would like to possibly get some of those for my barren tank.

Those came frag Midwest Reef Supply
John over there calls them "uncle Fester" I have no idea why, he has more. Not sure what he is getting per poylps as I traded some of the orange ones to him.
