WTB: Entire tank set up or just some pieces - NW MN

I am slowly getting the bug again and looking to buy locally first. Looking for live rock, tanks, possibly a skimmer, or other equipment.

If you have the availability to travel to the twin cities check out www.craigslist.com. There always seems to be tanks, parts etc in there that you could pick up..

I know about the bug, I am just recently restarting a 70 gal that I got a steal on...

I was hoping to find someone on RC or a similar forum. I have never purchased anything from Craigslist or even eBay, because I just can't trust them. All of my supplies have been purchased new or through RC or similar forums.

Craigslist isn't like ebay, and I wouldn't commit to buy hardware without seeing it up close and personal anyway. But what I have done in the past is contacted the seller and told them it was conditional on the point that everything was in servicable condition.

Thats when you can negociate prices down due to defects or stuff tanking more work that you thought etc.

If you don't like the deal, you can walk away.. Don't give them the cash.

Most tanks are for Pick up only so it works out.
