WTB frag plugs

Any of the local fish stores sell them, Aquatic Tech, Tropical Aquarium, Salty Critter etc... You can also get them online at almost any shop. Marine depot, fosters and smith, phishy business, eden's gate etc...

There is also a local reefer and C-SEA member that makes them out of ceramic so they do not need to be cured at all and are ready to use. PM Ron (RC name= newsalt1) and ask him about a price. Good stuff!

The ceramic ones can be challenging to bond into place once they have grown out. I guess the ceramic needs to be scored or something to get the epoxy to hold onto liverock in your tank. And if it's a prized SPS frag that you have grown out...playing around trying to get it to bond may not be ideal. This at least if the secondhand knowledge I recieved from a very good source who has used them.

I use the boston cement kind marine depot and salty critter and in a pinch I have used the plastic floral water tubes available from Michaels as a temp growout. Note on the plastic tubes. These are a nice in a way since snails cannot bump them into each other due to the length of the tube. And when they growout you just remove from the tube and epoxy the dead part that was stuck in the tube in place.
