Always wanted to try a planted tank. Looking for everything; lighting, pumps, tank, etc...

Let me know what you have and how much.

Thanks!

If your gonna be coming up to palmdale/lancaster area I have two pieces of drift wood with anubias rooted in them and a bunch of malaysian trumpet snails.

I got a tank from someone who was using it as a FW planted tank. I kept the substrate in a bucket. I have no idea if the stuff is OK to reuse, but you're more than welcomed to take some. How big is the tank?

Try Scapeclub.org , Planted tank club will give you great ideas and people selling stuff. Unlike Reefing you don't have to spend 2 zillion dollars. I got 2 planted tanks. Once you got it tuned in right they are super low maintenance. I only do a water change about every 2-3 months.

hmmm, I don't think I can reuse it... thinking of doing something small, under 20 gallons. Have any used tanks available?

I have a buddy looking to trade his fluval 6 gallon edge...

pm sent!

I have a fluval fx5 I can sell u I was using on my planet discus tank but broke it down last week

too big, but thanks for the offer!

Thanks for the link, do you have any plants I can buy off you?

Thanks Dodgerblew. I started out hoarding different species of plants and seeing which ones would grow well without high light or CO2 injection, that's why it looks like a jungle. Now I'm going to re-scape the 2nd tank with a Manzanita branch coming out of the water and only keep 4 of my favorite species. I might even do 1 Riparium plant in it too.

Jason, my son has two FW tanks in his room. If you are looking to get rid of the driftwood, let me know

Im about to go on vacation but I will hit you up when I get back and see if you want them. They would look nice in a planed tank. When I went to saltwater I just didnt care much for my FW tanks.
