WTB: HOB skimmer

Anyone have a good hob skimmer that will work for my 30g?

I have been watching for the same thing now for at least six months. I think I am going to break down and buy the new CPR Aero unit.

Ok, I checked it out and it seems pretty good. Better than the Remora C?

I just picked up the Aero Force two weeks ago and am very pleased. I have owned bakpaks and remoras too...this one is my favorite for a couple reasons...
1) _extremely_ quiet...can hardly hear the thing, really. that's the most noticeable difference.
2) solid skimmate production
3) very little visible in the display
4) removable body makes cleaning much easier too
the skimmate production, I bet, would be about the same, if not a little more than a regular remora, but without the noise and the bigger pump in the tank. smaller collection cup on the aero force, but it's good to regularly rinse that out anyway...

I have an octopus dual HOB skimmer for sale. The pumps may need replacing though, as they tend to shut off randomly (I think they are overheating)

Probably too large for your 30g. It worked awesome on my 75g, but then the pumps started freaking out. They like to shut off randomly. Looking for $75

We also have HOB skimmer. If you decide to buy the canister filter, you can take a look at it when you come over. It's a remora aquac:

Aero Force skimmer showed up Friday. Easy to setup and immediately pulling large quantities of "skim juice". This unit is super quiet and only pulling 8 watts between the two hydor pumps. So far so good.
