They can host in almost anthing they choose, but their natural host are anemones. Mine hosted my Hammer, and Frogspawn for the whole time in my tank. When I got a RBTA, they started to host that. Its a hit and miss with them though, sometimes it is right away, sometimes it takes a while. Before I scared my clown into the Frogspawn, it would sleep on the water surface for months.

I have 3 percs and they don't host in anything....

I hope they like my anemone because all mine clown do that split 5 times in my tank. let me know how your clowns are doing in a few days. they should host it real quick

true and false percs don't naturally host in the wild.....they will sometimes host in captivity in whatever they feel like. Scott's hosted in his frogspawn for 3 years until they decided they liked the RTBA....mine host in a big patch of blue ridge at night, and one plays in a zoa rock during the day. So, don't worry if they won't host.....it won't hurt them....and they might surprise you one day

My false percs host in a rock loaded with hairly mushrooms.
I've been working on fragging some without success. If I can, you can have some to try out.
