go to Cali and you will find quite a few variety to select from. probably half the price of what they go for here in Az.
They were pretty expensive 20 years ago , but not sure how the prices are today. I had a Aust. gold Jardini that cost me two summer worth of work They were pretty rare back in the days, but not sure now. beautiful fish
I be going to cali in august. I can pick one up for u. nice one for under $100. let me know. I see some here but they ugly. I want to get a red one but don't have $ 4000 to burn. hihihihihihihihi
I can get a stunning green one for $100 but I was hoping for a gold or blue or a odd ball color. Just want a smaller one the green one is already 8 inches I like to grow my big boys out. I will check the pet shop thanks so far guys
I haven't been to Ocean Floor in a very long time but I have seen gold arowana there in the past. It's at least worth a phone call to see if they have something like that in stock. I have never seen a blue one for sale.
Though fishkeeping goes back to the Romans it was really, in my opinion, the Asians that turned it into an art (and the Germans a science). Just saying. Thanks for sharing the video, I loved it.
I bet for those prices they bring it to your home, acclimate it for you, and guarantee it for more than 14 days.

I did a presentation in design school last semester about the history of fish keeping, mostly about the actual vessels, starting w the Romans, China, Japan, 19th century England, up to current.
