WTB Live Rock

In desperate need of live rock to fill a 170 gallon tank. I don't want to take out a second mortgage to buy from the LFS.

:lol: Yeah, rock from the store can sometimes be cost prohibitive if you need a lot of it.

I just sold all of my extra rock, otherwise I'd have some.

I believe a few others have some for sale, though.

Try Online vendors that sell L/R like Dr's fosters & Smith and others If you want to not get some one's old possibly Phosphate loaded Algae covered hand me downs! Being the most Important Item you add to your tank, I would get the best quality rock you can afford. May save you all kinds of trouble down the road. JMO.

Bulk Reef Supply, Reefcleaners, Marco rocks, etc. all have good rock. If I had to depend on what was available at the lfs, I probably would not set up a tank.

I used reefscience for the first time for rock and am very pleased with it... highly recommend it.

Thanks guys. I just ordered 60 lbs of the dry fiji pukani from bulk reef today with the group discount.

Anyone on here know anything about the fiji pukani? The guys at bulk reef supply highly recomended it. Plus they have free shipping for all live rock for the entire Month of August.

I already have about 80 pounds of live rock now with great growth on it. I wanted live rock but $2.79 a pound and free shipping....I couldnt pass it up.

That's a great deal!!!! I'll be looking that up next year when I have to fill up the big tank.....I have also heard a lot of good stuffs about marco rocks too, I've got a 29 filled with marco rocks from James. Can't wait to set it up to see how it does....
