Im looking to get about 15-20 pounds of live sand, a 50 watt heater, and some small rio pumps for a nano reef that im setting up. I live in the encino area 91316. Please email at kiarashsaf@yahoo.com if anyone has anything that they want to to sell...thanks

What kind of lighting are you using on your nano? Living in Encino, I'd vote you probably don't need a heater, the rio pumps especially seem to keep my 12 gal at 78-80 with no heater. As far as the rio pumps, I would buy them new, after about a year even, those things are noticeably less efficeint. I don't know what type of nano you are doing, but with my JBJ 12 gal, I just took the stock pump, and put that behind my live rock pile to work as extra circulation, like a small powerhead back there, and then used a rio 600 in its place in the back. As for the live sand, I would try your local LFS, I actually bought a bag of "live sand" that was prepackaged once, and other time, I explained that I just needed a small quantity and they just gave it to me. It never hurts to ask. :)

You can buy live sand, as much as you need for $1 a #, from Rainbow pets. Woodman and Nordoff.
