Hello I have been looking into buying a fairy wrasse for sometime, I believe I would be able to house one in my 40G it's been set up for a month now. I was wondering would I need my tank to be more established to be able to successfully house this wrasse. I was thinking about live aquaria but if someone knows where I could get one locally I would appreciate it, Thank you very much for viewing this thread.

I saw a couple of mccoskers fairy wrasses at pacific reef in fountain valley. They don't grow very large and are IMO the prettiest flasher wrasses.

i'd honestly wait a bit for everything to catch up in your tank. You had the tank running just a month ago, and you added a couple of fish and a CUC as well as some corals 2 weeks after that. Personally, Id give it a bit more time for your bio filters in the tank to stabilize and your rock/substrate to get a lil more populated. Whats that saying, only bad things happen quick in this hobby or something to that effect..

Yeah I guess I will just wait, I have no patience its a curse. thanks for the advice.

I guess I was thinking of another wrasse, That is a really nice one. I think I will have to wait according to what pyskokid said. I do have a 50Gallon fowlr tank I could probably put him in till my tank is more established. well anyway Thanks tran maybe Ill stop by that store and check them out.
