WTB: replacement needle wheel for Octo skimmer

Need a new needle wheel for my Octopus DNW200 skimmer - anybody know where to get them?

A long time ago I was looking for a pinwheel impeller for the octo and found some when I searched with shopping.google.com. I also know someone that had ARC order them once.

the magnet on our needlewheel broke so my wife called up the company to order one, they offer her a freebie instead, give that a try

I did find the whole impeller assembly but it's $50. I can replace the whole pump for $80. All I really need is the plastic needle part not the whole assembly.

OK, I found one on Ebay for $16 - the whole assembly. I will probably mesh the one I have and keep the new one as a backup.

I replaced mine a few months ago and bought the new one directly from Coral Vue, which is now the parent company. Getting it from them was much cheaper than any of the online stores. I just used the "contact us" icon on their site and their customer service was terrific.

Did you go from the older style to the newer style?

Yes, I did, and noticed some improvement in skimmer performance.

I contacted them and it looks like $28 plus $6 shipping...
