WTB ricordeas

Man I would pay $50bux for 6 recordia...lol

Damn, any one in OC want to make an order? I'm in Westminster area which is close to Huntington beach, garden grove, fountainvalley, costa mesa.....I'm looking to get 6 recordia (one of each color).

Is the 12 pack recordia for 100bux still available?

There's no gurantee will you get 1 of each color. What we did, was take turns just picking out from the pack.

currently 4 available

Lokko - I'm in H'wood

Here is what I suggest on the group buy:

1 Someone start a spreadsheet in google docs and post the link here.

2 Those who want to participate go onto the spreadsheet and type in their RC name, quantity of pacs (.5, 1, 2 etc) and the shipping zip code.

3 Obviously if you are ordering .5 then you need to indicate who your "purchasing partner" will be.

4 Have an established time that you will close the GB and then keep bumping the thread up to keep it active.

Note: Might be beneficial to also set a date that everyone needs to have paid. By having this list and the payment you might be able to negotiate better rates with the vendor.

IMHO! HTH

Reefers4U-How do you link the google doc to this site? Do you want in on the group buy if nobody in Hollywood gets one together?

Kevin32, I still think that the price is good at $99. However there are only 4pks up on the site for sale. we should get on it sooner rather than later.

it probably wont be that beneficial if you have a list because his supply is always random. somedays he'll have more ric packs available and other days there might not be any thing left. What we did, we had about 4 of us, each pretty much willing to spend $100 each, but only 3 of us went on in the order.

just make sure you have enough willing to hit that $250 bench mark and start up the group buy.

People will need to order on their own, pay on their own, and Colin will give you a code to use for the group buy. Sometimes he might even give an extra 10% off coupon code for the group buy. Just get a few interested and contact colin for more detail.

He'll let you set a end date of the order and also the day to pick out to get it shipped to the host.

so maybe he'll open it on tuesday and say close by sunday night. Your group will have 4-5 days to purchase whatever is listed on the site.

Note, that he does release new rics every few days. I suggest not waiting, cause you'll lose out on some nice single selection rics. So you might end up putting 1 or 2 orders during that time.

Everyone part of the group should note on that spreadsheet the total of your order and hopefully it adds up to $250. If not, you'll end up having to split the $35 in shipping, or maybe someone will purchase 1 or 2 more rics to hit free shipping. None-the-less, it's a great deal

Hm... how come it says deal expire 12/31/11 ?

dont worry about the expiration date. probably just a static page that he never updated.

There were 9 packs when we decided to set it up. A few days later, when we finally got it going, there were only 2 packs left. Our group purchased the last 2 so there were no more available till a few days ago when I got the email he just added 4 more ric packs.

Coralmorphologic updates every Sunday and Wednesday evening. I suggest doing a Sunday to Sunday group buy (this provides an opportunity for 3 WYSIWYG). I was part of the group buy with Bowlopho and I made 5 separate purchases during that period. Buy as soon as you see something you like and dont leave things in your cart for more than 15min- I missed out one some sweet ricordea because my cart expired. There are literally 100s people on the site when an update occurs, I went through and quickly put all things I considered buying in my cart and then made decision on those after I saw all my options.

On a second note, I also recently bought Ricordea from Sea Life Inc too. I had fantastic experience with both companies. Sea Life has less selection but their polyps are giant and they ship for cheap. Also they said they are planning to make a WYSIWYG section in the near future. There is a sweet video on ************ today (http://vimeo.com/36960378) regarding the conservation projects of the former owner (Sea Life Inc is now run by his daughter and her husband). Its probably good to support both companies.
