WTB Rio 400

Anyone have an extra rio 400, mine is busted for some reason, I think the propeller is bent, im not sure,b ut its the loudest contraption ever and not useable for my bedroom. I need it to power my cpr hob refugium. Or if you know any LFS''s that sell them. I havent seen them near me. I see them online real cheap, but if i can avoid paying for shipping itd be great, makes the pump way expensive

Spare yourself the agony and buy a MJ 400. Just a suggestion.

Very simple. In my experience and lots of others Maxijets are indestructable. I've lost count of the Taam products I've thrown in the garbage over the years. Certainly not everybody's experience, but it is mine. I couldn't possibly recommend a Taam product in good conscience. I have MJ's running for years now on timers and 24/7, without a single failure.

If you order them from etailers, you'll be surprised at how close the prices are. Petsolutions almost always has MJ's on sale.

dont use any rio pumps, not sure of the seios(although they are made by Taam) same company, rios are JUNK!
they leak after time, self destruct, i lost my whole reef a few years back because i didnt know any better and bought one and used it, and the rest is history.

There's a place on RT. 9, Howell called Pet Asylum, try there, and they also have some others like that that probably are better. There prices there are good, really good, check them out. They use to have salt there, but that became to expensive I guess. But, they have some stuff still.
