don't care i don't have a sump yet but i will so don't really care if its in sump or hang on.

Get an inline or an in sump then. Stay away from the hang ons. It will save you some money in the long run and will perform better for you.

buy a octopus skimmer, you wont find a bad review on them.

i suggest the nw200 in sump model. if you have a bit more money to spend try a recirculating model for that extra ummfh.

you can get one from aquacave next day for about 210 dollars shipped.

I have 2 CPR Backpaks. If you are going in-sump, I just bought an Octopus and it works great. Pulling lots of stuff out of the water already and it's only been running for 5 days.
