Well Tropical Aquarium here in Brunswick, has a 24" T-5 fixture with IR for $20. I think it's a t-5 fixture, I didn't look real close at it, but the end caps looked T-5. Umm worth a try for $20. Have you thought about using just a clamp light from HD with a 5500K screw in PC bulb? That's what I use and it works great!!
