I'm helping my nephew setup a small SW tank. I can get a 10g pretty cheap at RMS if no one has anything.

I have an old 55gallon you can have. Its a little bigger than a 10 but you cant beat the price

If Frank isn't interested I could come and get it. I am about 45 minutes south of you but go through there every once in a while.

I am working on a larger scale in-wall system and my 10 yr old son is looking to claim my 29g for himself so I will need a quarantine tank for me.

That would be fantastic.

With that size, I could eventually get him some reef appropriate lighting and he would be set.

And for now you could use an $8 4 foot shop-lite if he is going FOWLR.
Good luck with the project and keep us posted.

I have a 48" long NO light fixture that came with my 75. I could probably easily modify it so he'd have some suitable light for it. It will be a FOWLR tank, at least for now anyway.

Thanks to Kris101's generosity, my nephews tank is now in progress.
I'm going to provide the sand and rock for him. I think I can setup a FO lighting system with some extra parts I have. I still need to find a used heater, hydrometer, and an RO filter.
