If anyone has any of this Acropora, let me know. I would love to get a piece. This picture came from Phishy Business and while they don't currently have any, I am hopeful that one of you locals got some before.

Hi Steven! Someone was trying to track down the "Saphire" a while back. I don't think there are any still living around here.

If you know of one in Chicago...find it...let me know...buy it...and I can probably do pickup if a frag is offered up to me when it grows out. I'm scheduled out that way around the 1st weekend of May and have made arrangements for house/tank sitter so it must be in stone. ;) With the source of great tanks out that way there's got to be one. LMK.

I figured with the swap coming up I would revive this thread. I am hopeful someone in the Columbus area still has some of this Acropora from Phishy.

One of my corals looks similar except it is not the same shade of blue.
Although that could be the lights it is under.
It had been 10K, I recently swapped those for 14K.
I have seen corals color up differently under different lighting, even in my own system (same water chemistry).
I don't have a name for this one either.

Mine may just be a blue milli, but I thought it looked pretty similar to the photo posted aside from the intensity of the color. The shape of the corallites and growth pattern looked very much like my colony.

Having never seen the original coral in person in the depths of Serdar's basement, all I had to go on was the low res image posted.
;)
