WTS: 36" Sunpod 2x250MH HQI

Hmmmm.

Would this be too much for a 50 gallon? Right now I've got a Coralife Aqualight Pro 150w MH / 2x65w fixture on it. The tank's 18" deep I believe.

How did you do your supplementation? Isn't this fixture halides only? (Not counting the moonlights)

i run 2x250w on my sumpless 50g at 77-78 degrees all year round.

Yah I was considering it as well but thats a lot of light on a 36" w tank. I have the dual 150 HQI w/ 2X75 VHO actinic and I have a hard time keeping the temp down.

Yes it has legs, orginal box and papperwork. It does not have the cheap analog wall socket day / night on off timer that came with it. I will incluse a 36" glass versa top (never used).

I used the legs on my old tank, but you can hang it from the ceiling with the correct mounting kit.

Here are some pics of the light
