WTT : 250w HQI DE w/bulb for PFO 250w HQI

I have an ab (i think or maybe via aqua) ballast with Reef Optix 2 Pendant and bulb I'm looking to trade for a PFO ballast, and pendant. This setup is much brighter then the pfo pendant i have next to it, but i'm sick of having 2 diffrent ballasts (making it look two diffrent shades even w/the same bulb) over my tank.

I have two PFOs HQI pendants but not the PFO ballast. Would be interested in trading for the Reef optics as long as they are in good shape. The PFO pendants I have are pratically brand new. I used them for 5 months.

let me see if i can come up w/a pfo ballast, and i'll take you up on that and if your up for it buy the second pendant.

Are the bulbs the same? If its a Magnetic ballast then changing them isn't going to make a difference. You can also wire any pendant to run on any ballast. It doesn't have to match to work.

Ya, over the course of the last couple years, i've run, 2x14k Hamiltons, 2x14k XMs, 2x20k Hellios and 2x20 Abs they have never looked the same, the Reef Optix & Via Aqua (or ab can't recall) Ballast was always alot brighter. The reef optix is also a much nicer pendant, it is larger and has these "wings"
