Sounds like a good deal, but I can't spare my light.
I just nabed this one from fosters for my wifes tank fuge.

Not quite as much lighting power as you wanted but this one is over at Johns for $55.

Thanks for the link. I'm currently running a single 18w PC and it doesn't seem enough. One side of the tank is dim and i'm hoping another PC would do the job. I'm running the light on a minibow 2.5.

I've got two of the old ones with 18w total (2 bulbs 9w). Seemed fine to me on my 2 gallon. How are you going to mount the light on your minibow? Could you post pics of old setup?

the current single 18w was retro'ed in the stock hood. Sorry I didn't take any pic and the tank is at work. how was your corals color under the 2x9w?

Well, they looked pretty good to me back then, but then that was all I had back then. Now with a 140 g and 400watts, I don't think a 2 gallon is worth the electricity. When I had it going, my zoos and candycane did well. I even put a digi in there and it did fine. Never had acros though. I didn't even have filtration, just a bubbler. Definitely couldn't have fish. Just a shrimp and a few cleaners. If you wanna try acros, I have green slimer frag for you.

xia, thanks for the offer. I'm actually trying to slow down on the acro or corals in general. it's time to start growing some of the SPS/LPS that i have in there. the nano is just to have something to look at when i'm at work. since i live in an apt I can only have the 30g with 250w halide. .

Minh, never did get the light. Decided to stick with what I have.

If anyone want to trade for a softie/LPS frag pack. I willing to go that route.

Would you consider trading cash for it? I am relativity new to reef keeping, so I do do not have much worthy of trading yet. Just a few common Zoa and a few mushrooms. Everything else in the tank I am still attached to. However I would like to add this little guy to my CO2 injection system on my planted 125.
