Of all the dragonets the Oscillated Dragonet (common Scooter Blenny) is by far the easiest to get to eat standard aquarium food.
You can also keep two males together and it's very interesting to watch them display and "kick" sand at each other with their tails.

I'm interested. I don't have a fish for trade, but have some pink xenia and/or some gsp that I could trade. My main problem right now is I have a fish in the QT right now waiting to add to the display.

I need to read up on the scooter a bit more to be sure he'd do well in my setup. I have a ton of pods (amphipods, copepods, and mysis). I wouldn't want him to hog all the food, though, as I'd like to get some kind wrasse at some point (pink streaked or 6-line are the ones I'm thinking about).

How is he eating right now?

He eating good, however i dont have many pods thats why i need to get him somewhere where he will be happy he will eay a little flake and some cyclopeeze and brine, but he prefers to hunt for pods just give me a call sometime at 5548611 its always on for work purposes
thanks again

Morgan, I have to pass on this. The timing just doesn't work out with my QT currently in use for a new fish I just got over the weekend. Hope you find a home for him.

Id like to work a trade, just affraid of what my clowns would do to it. I mean, the one was attackin my hand this morning when i got near their zoas when I was movin some zoa frags. Ha Ha and my pinky is bigger than the clown. Can't imagine if they would do anything to the scooter...

I have kept them with clowns with no problems. Of course the tank was bigger than 20 gallons also. I had a pair of regular and a pair of red scooters that would breed quite often along with my manderins. Those along with manderins are probably my favorite fish.

My maroon used to 'stand up for' my first mandarin when the lawnmower blennie would sit on its head. That was in a 40, though. Shakes would chaase the blennie off:).

I see. But, I would have to let it go straight into my tank. I'm sure its healthy, just don't wanna take of chance of introducing a disease to my tank.
