At minimum I would just float the bag to get up to temp for 15-20 minutes. Then you could use some sort of dip as a precaution for any pests before it goes in your display tank. I personally don't use drip acclimating for my corals unless the salinity is wildly different than my tank water, which it shouldn't be.
My ideal is float, drip, dip then qt. I confess I often skip the qt part which is how I got aefw in my display despite dipping everything always. Eggs are unaffected by dip.
I typically dip in the incoming water, then leave my sps frags out of water for a few minutes to let it slime up really well. then I just put it in its new tank water, the slime coat slowly dissolves and allows a nice steady acclimation
