X-10 modules

My ACII came with PowerHouse AM466 modules. I bought the setup used with 5 of them, so I can only assume that is what came with it. I am wanting to purchase at least 4 more. Is there any other X-10's that would work or do they have to be this model? Oddly enough, these are working on my 3 Icecap ballasts, they do make a loud pop when they turn on, along with my chiller. I am needing a couple more to make "wavemaker" and control a soon to be calcium reactor.
And as another thought, how do I program the thing from the interface a delay in a power outage. Meaning, if the power "flickers" enough to make the lights go out, to set around a 15 minute delay before the lights will turn back on?

Yes, you can purchase them from X10.com or X10pro.com or you can purchase them from aquarium online stores such as Premiumaquatics.com or Marinedepot.com

I ordered mine from X10.com. They were way cheaper than any aquarium store. Remember, you add the word aquarium to a product and all of a sudden, you can hike up the price twofold.

On your second question,

Use the Max delay command. It creates a "sticky" state for the lights to remain off for a predetermined time after an event occurs. The ACII manual describes the syntax.

MAX CHANGE 010 M then LT1 OFF

keeps lights off for 10 mins
You probably want to use this statement after testing for power failure.

kattner,

Where do I find the MAX CHANGE part? I do not have aquanotes so everything is done by the main control unit. How do I get to it? I have been skimming the manuel but I guess I have overlooked it or something.

Go to "setup" then "timer setup" then "timer program" then "add state". Scroll through until you see the MAX CHANGE command. Then set the delay time I.E 10 minutes or 15 minutes then choose the device name to be controlled and wether you want it stuck OFF or ON for the programmed time delay. In the case of metal halides you want them to stay off for 10 minutes or so.
