Xenia capable of stinging?

Should be Quarantined
So I've got a nutty growing piece of pulsing Xenia in my frag tank, and I was curious to know if it has the capabilities to sting nearby coral. Specifically, I've noticed that a piece of my pipe organ coral has not opened up nearly as much as it was, and the Xenia is nearby, within touching distance when it fully extends. I know that I could just move the Xenia, but I'd like to know if thats the reason the pipe organ is acting funny while the rest of the tank is flourishing.

Thanks in advance!

I have some growing on my glass, just recently started touching my huge candy cane. was stinging my candy cane. so, to answer your question, yes it does sting, although not all. it hasn't fazed my mushrooms, clams, or cabbage leather. so, maybe it just effects LPS's??

I've never seen Xenia sting anything, though I have seen it take out a few zoanthids by plowing through/over a colony (moving, not growing) and smothering them along the way.
