Xenia Carying Ick?

Someone told me that Xenia can carry the Ick virus and pass it to fish. I didnt think that was possible but I wanted to double check
Is this true?

"Ich" (also "Ick") is not a virus. It is a protozoan parasite. It has a lifecycle with several different stages. During some stages of its life it resides on the substrate. There is nothing special about xenia; any coral attached to some rock or sand, or possibly even the coral itself could potentially harbour the parasite.
