Xenia Coral for Nutrient Export... In Fuge?

Was thinking about putting some Xenia in my sump as a alternate means of Nutrient export, as alot more people are asking for coral then algae these days. So what would be the minimum/cheapest light that I could use to grow some in my sump? PC? CFL? T5?

PC T5 all work
but you need to watch how they grow onto. cuz its hard to scrape if on a rock, when you damaged them, they release toxic back to tank
