Xenia death spreads - any suggestions

In the last 2 or 3 days our Xenia have taken a turn for the worst. I do 10 gallon water changes in our 75 once a month. After noticing our Xenia start to wilt I did the usually and changed the water. The Xenia have gotten worse and at the base there is a white film growing up and "eating" the xenia. It is slowly spreading and doesn't appear to be associated with water quality. Any ideas?

i have had this problem what i suggest is to get the water quality back up by doing another 10 gal water change. then use a turkey baster to keep the xenia clean try and blow the rot?fungus off of the xenia once or twice a day i had this happen due to poor water quality i had no idea my fish and other coral were fine the xenia and i have 3 kinds in my reef all basicly started to melt just keep it clean and have paitence it will come back.
