Xenia detaching!!!!

Hey guys, I got a stalk of Xenia, did the toothpick method where I skewing the stalk and rubberband to a rock... however on more than one occassion the Xenia would detach itself somehow and disappear... I skewer it right in the thick section so I don't see it possibly breaking of--also it's in a low flow area.

Please advise.

Flush it while u can lol jk, try 2 in an x format, that works for me

Hehe, I'll give that a shot! Is there potentially a reason why the Xenia might purposely detach itself?

ive fragged over 300 of them and about 25 percent did that i think i just didnt get the toothpick in just right but once they are on there for a couple days they end up not coming off plus the rock i cut them from if you just leave a piece the size of a ant it grows back
