xenia eating ----

Does anything eat xenia's and as it appears in my tank only feeds on xenia's. It looks alot like something is chomping on my pulsing xenia's and they continue to whither away until they look so awful i end up throwing them away. Ive been on the watch for any worms or anything and I did see a small "bug like" creature, very tiny that scurried away very fast. Any ideas? I was thinking about taking my rocks out and pouring some seltzer on them but...?

All I'm saying is I like a natural balance. I like Xenia, but I don't like it crowding out other things in my tank. If something were to casually munch on a Xenia or two from time to time, it wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing. The problem usually is, that whatever is eating your Xenia will likely eat ALL OF THEM, then move on to the next best thing, whatever that happens to be in your tank. Then you have to find something to eat IT, and the cycle continues...

BTW, the "bugs" are probably pods and harmless. If you have fish, they should keep them under control.
