xenia in a prop tank???

Would putting some pulsing xenia in my proptank (55g) in a corner on the sand and on the glass , to make a "clownfish" hotel, work? I wouldn't want the xenia to grow crazy too soon.

Currently only have a few frags and no fish. Pretty boring in there. I thought clowns hosting in some pulsing xenia would be cool.

it is independent with a emperor 400 for carbon filtration. There is also a huge bundle of chaeto in there making the pod population go mad.

what are some quick speading, easy care pulsing xenia. I have 260w pc.

The red sea xenia, also known as pom pom xenia is a good choice. I have only 48 watts in a 12 gallon nano, and they spread like crazy.
