Xenia with hole

Noticed this, this morning. Wondered if it was something I should worry about, it's attached itself to a rock a little higher up, could it just be trying to separate itself from the rest of the colony? It just looks overstretched, and there is a tiny hole in the center, but does not look like it got eaten or bothered.

I wouldn't worry... looks like it it just traveling. Mine have gone up the rocks and glass.

Its just splitting and moving, mine do it all the time. I started with one stalk a year ago, now i have a small forest 6" square!! When i bought my first piece i asked if i should get more than one, the guys at Salty Critter said one will be PLENTY! They were right. The best luck i have had to contain them was to put them on an outcropping that is high and with a greater distance than they are tall away from the nearest rock.
