I have to prune some xenia. Anyone interested in having some. Seeing that I have never done this before, I could use some help in learning how.

Its pretty hardy, you can cut it off at the base and attach it to a small piece of rock with a rubber band or some netting. The easiest way to do it is put a small piece of rock next to a stalk and it will walk on to the rock in a short time. Thats the way I do it, then I dont have to worry about attaching it to a rock myself.

iv never had a problem when i cut/fragged mine (when i had it) i would just cut off a stalk and rubber band it to a rock. but it grows back eventually. its not to difficult.

I farm lots of it, and the easiest way to do it is just to get hold of it at the base with forceps and lightly tug it free from the rocks....It pulls right off with a bit of a pull, and then has a base area that takes to the new substrate VERY readily....you don't get the massive snotting that comes from cutting, and the remainig ones still fill back into the cleared areas, they just take a little longer than if cut to grow right back in, thus you don't have to do it again QUITE as soon....

Just the experience speaking, I actually just delivered like 25 - 30 heads last night....

yup, I have to farm it about every 3 weeks, and like I said, I just traded off like 25 to 30 heads last night, and I could pull up more tonight and not look thin....
