xm 10,000 k & refractometer

Good Mrning guys,

A couple of Questions for you I'm Looking to place an order today for a xm 10,000k 250watt bulb, Has there been any know problems with them running off an ice cap electronic ballast?

Second the refractometer you sell for 69/89 $ are these of good quility I would hate to invest in something that is inaccurite

Hi Ray,

Thanks for your inquiry. The XM bulbs do not seem to always work IceCap ballasts, so it is not a combination that we would recommend. If you are looking to run a 10,000K bulb, the Ushio or AquaLine would be a better choice.

In regards to the refractometer, they are indeed of a very good quality. They are extremely accurate as well. We would definitely recommend it to anyone with a saltwater tank.
